RX 580 8GB Video lag in full screen on all video players

Hello, i recently decided to switch from a Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB G1 Gaming to a Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 8GB Gaming in order to be able to use the Freesync of my monitor. I encounter an annoying issue with video playback. In Full Screen playback only, using any player (BS, VLC, Media Player etc), the playback lags every once in a while, just for a second and then continues. This happens all the time, with any kind of video in full screen. I tried both 17.4.4 and 17.5.1 driver versions. I tried to turn off freesync. I changed 4(!) displayport cables, just in case. I formatted my PC, used latest drivers on everything. Still the same. This never happened with my old card. I use windows 10 pro x64 creator's update. My PC specifications are: Intel i7 6700K, Asus Maximus VIII Ranger, 16gb GSKILL RipjawsV DDR4 3200Mhz, Gigabyte Radeon RX 580 8GB Gaming, Samsung 960 Evo 250GB NVME SSD. Does this happen to anyone else?
