Still didn't work .
When I install the amd radeon driver, it doesn't seem to make any effect in windows(the screen doesn't blink or such, has it happens in intel drivers)
And after restart, device manager keeps seeing radeon has generic video adapter, and Everest still sees has Firepro W9000.
Is there a way to modify RADEON 8850m .inf file to install in windows has if it was installing an Firepro W9000 adapter?
It's not the best solution, but I wouldn't bother about windows 10 seeing my Radeon 8850m working has Firepro, has long it is working.
Unpack AMD driver(#4 in my previous post) to new folder
Try manually installation via device manager>update driver>manually update>search on this computer and choose a folder with unpacked driver
But i am afraid you have to reinstall your OS.Your system (registry) may be irreparable corrupted.
I did another clean install of Windows 7 and then Windows 10, but the problem remains, driver won't install because see the device has amd Firepro w9000.
I think the problem is not the registry, but the radeon 8850m.
Is there any way to make the 8850m driver install has if it was a Firepro W9000 or I just have to consider the gpu has lost cause?
