Problems with older directx games

    • Rx 480 Red Devil 8gb by powercolor
  • Desktop or laptop system
    • Desktop
  • Operating System
    • Windows 7 64 bit
  • Driver version installed
    • Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.11.2
  • Display Devices
    • Acer monitor, 1680x1050, hdmi to vga adapter
  • motherboard
    • MSI 870-C45
  • CPU / APU
    • Phenom II x4 955
  • Power Supply Unit Make, Model & Wattage
    • OCZ StealthXstream, 500W
  • R.A.M.
    • 8GB DDR3

 

Problem:

-main game i play is call of duty 4 (yes i still play on the game, moving on) problem happens at random ingame, much worse 3d map disort and horrible sounds of tearing

-after that game crashes, when i relaunch it

-only solution i found is to reboot pc

 

I did some tests and this is what i got:

When it comes to the game, it's a game, but it's not a game.

When it doesnt happen: 2d games, on desktop, when playing youtube video

i have 8 gb model but it shows 4 and less gb
