So, I have an Acer Aspire E5-551G with AMD FX-7500 R7 and AMD Radeon M265 R7.
in Device Manager everything apears to be installed corectly, when I enter AMD Crimson, It shows both display adapters so i guess that means the're installed corectly, but when I enter AMD Overdrive it only shows me 1 GPU("GPU 0") even if i start a game that's put on Maximum Performance it still shows me that only 1 GPU is active. At first i thought It was just a weak laptop but when I saw this I started wondering, what if switchable graphics just don;t work, so I decided to ask you people, what do you think, should it be like this or not?
I've added some Print Screens.
Oh, and if you look closely in the detailed GPU0 2nd Image you can see those are the specs of the integrated GPU not the discrete one.
It just means that acer has turned off the option for overclocking and locked it. this has been done through the bios, which you the end user can not change as the option to turn it on again is not present.
