I need to enable 4 monitors on a firepro 4100w in windows 10. After the upgrade from windows 7 I see 4 displays, but 2 are disabled. how do I enable the other two displays?
Thanks for any help.
You need to have at least 2x ACTIVE DP-DVI adapters. I am not sure what kind of adapters you are using right now. If you come up with the argument that it worked with Windows 7 before, I must say that the complain should be redirected to Microsoft. Catalyst Control Center (CCC) does not have super powers to enable displays. Whatever options you see under Windows Display Manager, you will see them under CCC too.
How are your monitors connected?
Each monitor is connected to the machine with a DVI cable that has a dongle to convert it to mini Display Port at the end.
Thanks for your quick reply and your help. I will try the active dongles.
It did work under Windows 7 Professional, however, with the (what I thought were passive) dongles it is now connected with.
