    FuryX HBM problem

      HBM is proving 60% of the bandwidth. What's going on here? When overclocked to 600Mhz HBM provides a substantial benefit. If HBM was actually giving 512/GB it shouldn't be giving much benefit at all. AMD what's going on with this card? Are these bandwidth numbers correct.

          512GB/sec is a theoretical maximum speed based on the bus width and operating frequency.  There's also the question of how useful that benchmark is as a measurement tool.  My 7970 shows around 150GB/sec with that tool, which is way below it's maximum theoretical speed.

           

          As for why you think overclocking memory shouldn't affect its speed, I can't even guess.
