I recently changed my screen set-up for my desktop PC.
I've got 2 screens connected to my PC.
The screens are set to duplicate display so I can use my PC from my desk and so I can do the gaming from my couch.
The desktop screen is connected with a DVI cable, while the HDTV is connected with an HDMI cable.
This is because the desktop screen only has a DVI port and the TV only has a HDMI port.
I have an AMD Radeon R9 280x series graphics card together with the latest drivers.
But on my desktop screen the screen keeps tearing, although both screens run at 60 Hz.
My guess is that there is a problem with the cables. I should probably go for a hdmi/hdmi or dvi/dvi setup.
Though the problem is, as said, one screen only has HDMI and the other only DVI.
Does anyone have a software solution? I was hoping I could change some settings in AMD Catalyst to solve this problem.
