one-to-one threads mapping to SIMD and compute core

I have HD 5870. I'm trying to do some mesures using CAL IL. My current understanding is that the domain width represents the size of the wavefront (so it can be 16 threads) and the height is the number of groups.

So to create 20 groups (hopefully each one will be assigned to one SIMD in my card) and each group contains 16 threads, the width should be 16 and height should be 20.

Do I get it right? If not, how can I do so?
