In one of my rendering projects, I want to render a simple forest in Maya. But this requires duplicating a lot of trees for render, which could result in crashing Maya or any other 3D software. I want to know if there is a function available in Pro Render that allows me to scatter my meshes (trees for ex.) without risking any software slowdowns and crashes. Similar to Arnold's StandIn feature. Does Pro Render has a similar feature like that or some alternative that works too? Something that is compatible with Pro Render, preferably in Maya?
