Feature request a bevel shader for prorender
posted at right click select forum
i want a bevel shader. any renderer that doesn't have a bevel node or 'round edge' capabilities is an instant fail for me.

Appreciate the feedback.
However I do have a question: Bevel Modifier — Blender Manual Blender has a modifier that does is (and seems more flexible than any shader one I've seen). Is there a reason that isn't good enough?

Thanks. No I understand how. I'm just never been clear WHY (why rendertime and not geometry). Of course it will be less manual work... but seems more flexible to me.
