Windows File Explorer Freezes / AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor

I have a PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor on an ASUS TUF Gaming B550M-PLUS (WiFi 6) AMD AM4 microATX gaming motherboard. It constantly freezes when renaming/moving files using Windows File Explorer and I read online where other people with AMD processors experience the same issue. Is there a fix for this?

Have you tried 'clear file explorer history'.
