Hi all,
AMD Ryzen 3400G, ASUS Pro WS X570-ACE, 64GB 2133Mhz RAM (2x32)
Started getting these errors in the event log about a week ago - and the system now crashes when under processor load. No recent system modifications (hardware or OS) outside of monthly windows patching.
A corrected hardware error has occurred.
Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Corrected Machine Check
Error Type: Bus/Interconnect Error
Processor APIC ID: 1
I have seen other posts on this forum and around the web - and have tried
- Updating motherboard BIOS to latest (4805)
- Decreasing RAM frequency to 1866Mhz (that was the next option "down")
- Increasing RAM voltage from 1.20 to 1.215v
- setting CPU performance state from "auto" to "off"
- verified the CPU and case fans are fine, no dust etc. and the temp is reasonable.
- im sure there have been others that i cant remember... driving me a bit nuts.
not sure where to go next - suggestions ?
verukins, please post all components including power supply. John.
Sure

verukins, does your system crash or just log these errors? You can talk to AMD about RMAing your processor here. Thanks, john.
The issue has to do with the on-die 'Northbridge' or Infinity Fabric. If you are running the (IF:Memory Speed) at a 1:1 ratio, e.g. 1867/3733 you'll need to lower them both. Try 1833:3666
