System stuttering

So I recently joined the PC Gaming community and bought a prebuilt PC with a Ryzen 7 5700G CPU. I mainly play CS:GO and Valorant and everything was running smoothly. However over the last 3-4 weeks I have been suffering lag spikes / jitters that affect the entire PC, it's as if the entire PC slows down for 1 - 2 seconds (Display and any audio such as a discord call). I've done some research and wondered if this could be the fTPM issue. I know AMD released a BIOS update for this last year and I'd assume that would be pre-installed as I only bought the PC this year. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
