Last week I upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 2600 to a Ryzen 5600x. After the upgrade, I started getting frequent SSL certificate errors in the browser and other programs. I've tried clearing the browser and certificates cache, resetting settings, and even doing a clean install Windows. The errors remain. Then I disabled Performance Boost in BIOS. The cpu maximum frequency was limited to the base 3.75 GHz and this helped. The ssl errors are completely gone.
My question is, is my processor defective and can I return it under warranty to the seller, or is the problem something else?
