I am waiting for new stock of the 5900XT processors to arrive into the retail environment so that I can build a high powered, long life workstation. However, I am also waiting to see if there is any word concerning NEW "workstation processors" ( i.e. like the 5900XT) and future compatibility with the new AMD TRX40 chipset. I hate to invest in a new system only to find that the current processor sockets are potentially at their end of life.
