ryzen 7 5700x overheating

hi there, been with amd for a few years now. happily.

recently bought the Ryzen 7 5700x moving from a Ryzen 7 3800x. and out of the box, even watercooler, goes up to 90c. should i be worried?
PC hasn't crashed yet, seems okay, but is it normal to run that hot?

thank you

Hey!

Is it the same watercooler as it was with the 3800X?

If its just a peak think and during gaming you have much lower temps, maybe not... but if your peaking at 90 frequently during gaming you need to start checking if everything is fine with the watercooler.

Good Luck

heya!  thoes this go up to 90c when browsing, gaming?

the only reason i can think of you get 90c is with cinebench or prime95 benchmarking .

maxed temp is 95c .

still... i have same cpu , mine goes max 82c when using cinebench r23.
