Hello, here's my problem. I have a CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 1700X. And my PC can't see 4 cores on it (simply, they have just disappeared). It probably happen after than I disabled the feature in BIOS called "AMD Cool'n'quiet". This is weird, it has to be 8 cores, but after disabling that feature, windows shows only 4 of them. I've asked for help, and they said to check out some kind of "Advanced Mode" in BIOS of my motherboard. So the question is, how can I get to Advanced Mode in BIOS on my motherboard (ASRock X370 Killer SLI)? Because I need to check if maybe there is some kind of feature to lock some cores, but I cannot see it. Or tell me, maybe there's some another issue. By the way, there's a weird situation, because Device Manager sees all 8 cores and its 16 threads, but in AIDA64 and Task Manager it doesn't. Thanks in advance.
PC Configuration:
Windows 10 Pro x64
ASRock X370 Killer SLI
ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 6Gb
Crucial Ballistix 8Gb
1000W Cooler Master Silent Pro
BIOS UEFI last version (4.80)
Hi excuse me, could you solve your problem? I'm having the same with my Ryzen 5
Omg I completely forgot about this post. Anyway, yes, it's resolved by installing last version of Windows 10. How to unlock them on 8.1 (or older) I still have no idea.
