Hey, I can confirm that you are not alone. I have the same issue with my 5500 after switching from my 3600. It mostly occurs when the CPU is at low idle or sometimes under high load. In my case, it does not appear when I play games, but when I just use Spotify or youtube, it starts to crackle and pop, but when a game is running in the background it does not appear. Its kinda annoying but nothing you can do tbh. I reinstalled my OS 4 Times, using different chipset driver, audio driver...etc no luck.
