My 1700 is OC'ed to 3.7ghz. If the pc sits for a while and goes to sleep it will wake up and run at 1.37ghz. I have restart the pc to get the processor back to 3.7. It did do the same thing on a regular start up as well, but that was one instance. It seems like every time it goes to sleep this happens. Ive never run into an issue like this and cannot really find and information on it so if anyone has any ideas or thoughts it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Sounds like the Windows Power Plan for Ryzen - Bug...
I got this Bug too. After a long IDLE on Windows, the clock dosen´t climbed up over 2 Ghz, dosen´t matter what I try, even with Prime95, the clock was stocked on 2Ghz.
After I choose the Balanced Power Plan from Windows, the Clock works normal and changes adaptiv to the CPU min. Load from 2Ghz to max. 3,8 Ghz (or 3,9Ghz Singel Core). .
