Hi
Can anyone tell me if a Radion R7 350x is compatible with a UEFI equipped main board ?
I am having a hard time getting my Acer TC-875-UR12 to recognize anything other than onboard graphics. The machine does not display anything using the card or the onboard graphics while the card is installed. I can hear the PC boot and it sounds like it boots to Windows 11 normally...just without any video.
I am limited to low powered graphics cards because my 300W power supply is not able to be upgraded. So the card must be PCIe powered.
I have located and purchased a refurbished R7 350x that will arrive tomorrow. Please let me know if you can tell me about this compatibility issue.
Thank you for your help.

Thanks everyone for the help.
AMD tech support has just answered my question:
They said it was not compatible
However, I tried it anyway and lo and behold...it works!
Thank you all for your help!
I disabled secure boot in the BIOS and the card loaded and works fine.
Interestingly, all the running specs show that UEFI is still in charge.
I couldn't find anything to indicate if the DELL R7 350X OEM GPU Card is verified to work in UEFI mode.
The only thing I found was an UNOFFICIAL BIOS at PowerTechUp that shows that it is compatible with UEFI Mode:
@goodplay is knowledgeable of which cards support UEFI mode. Maybe he knows for sure.
NOTE: The DELL R7-350X OEM requires a minium PSU of 300 watts.
Thanks! I appreciate your checking it for me.
Try asking AMD Support. They should give a definite answer from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/contact-email-form
If no one else is able to give you a definite answer.
Thanks!
Sorry can't help with that one, could be a thrice over rebadge/refresh oem.
If it's a dell card, their support should know?
Yes, it is a DELL card. I will check with them.
Thank you!

Is your BIOS set for CSM Mode instead of UEFI Mode?
If it is set for CSM Mode that is why it worked.
If it is set for UEFI Mode then I guess that Unofficial BIOS was correct.
I disabled secure boot in the BIOS and the card loaded and works fine.
