Hi, installed fx8350 into a MSI 970 Krait mobo. While Device Manager shows 8 cpu's, Task Manager and CPU-Z only show 6. Installed latest BIOS and unlocked cores in BIOS. Any help as to what is going on here? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. A few details: Windows 7 Pro, 16GB RAM, GTX1060. Thanks a lot in advance.

Figured it out. Uncheck processor count in msconfig. Thanks

I checked then unchecked the same in Win 10, just sorted the same issue with my FX9590 only 4 cores being used...spread the word. Cheers M.M
