CPU mining: undervolting Ryzen 9 3900x to lower operating temperature

Hi there,

I will cpu mine with my Ryzen 9 3900x. I would like undervolt the cpu and run it at 65 TDP (Watts) instead of the stock 105 TDP (Watts). Can the Ryzen 9 3900x function at that wattage? Or does it need more power? I have a stock cooler for the cpu and an old motherboard MSI B450m Mortar Max so I wanted to play it safe as, from my limited understanding, undervolting will mean that the motherboard will maintain a lower temperature when mining.

Very rarely will you find advice on mining setup on this forum. suggest you try dedicated mining sites for info.
