cpu 5800x3d

5800x3d foto.jpg

I have bought a new 5800x3d cpu, it has errors between the pins as in the photo,
it is a product error, they originate from the production process.

If your Retailer's Warranty or Return date is past then open a AMD Warranty Ticket to have it RMAed: https://www.amd.com/en/registration/warranty-services-portal.html

AMD Processor In A BoX Warranty information and what to upload for Warranty Service: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/warranty-information/pib

You need to be the Original Owner plus a valid Retail Receipt plus upload photos of the CPU Pins and the packaging it came in.

Need to show AMD that you received that CPU that way its shows in the photo.

EDIT: Note it is possible that white substance is shorting out the processor's pins since i see a small brown spot between two pins. I wouldn't try to remove the evidence until after you have spoken with AMD first.

If your new CPU doesn't have a Retailer's Warranty or Return date then open a AMD Warranty ticket that I posted in my previous reply.
