AMD Ryzen 3500U ram bug or something

Hi people I don't know what causes this but when I bought a Lenovo v15-Ada with 8gb of ram it was ok but I started having a problem with it.

The laptop started rebooting randomly and losing ram leaving with 3.9 gb of ram usable.

Now it boots normally but I can't find anything to fix that.

With the description you provided, it can be challenging to pinpoint the exact cause without further information, but there are a few potential explanations for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

  1. Check for physical RAM issues: Make sure the RAM modules are properly seated in their slots. Try removing and reinserting them to ensure a secure connection.

  2. Test the RAM: Use a reliable RAM testing tool, such as MemTest86, to check for any potential issues with the RAM modules. This will help identify if there are any faulty or malfunctioning RAM modules.

  3. Update BIOS and drivers: Visit the Lenovo support website and ensure that you have the latest BIOS version and drivers installed for your laptop. Outdated firmware and drivers can sometimes cause compatibility issues that affect the RAM functionality.

  4. Perform a clean boot: Disable unnecessary startup programs and services to see if any conflicting software is causing the RAM issue. You can do this by performing a clean boot in Windows, which allows you to start with minimal programs running.

  5. Check for malware: Run a thorough scan using reliable antivirus software to ensure your system is free from any malware or viruses that might be affecting the RAM performance.

If you have tried these steps and the issue persists, it may be necessary to contact Lenovo customer support for further assistance. They will be able to provide specialized guidance and potentially arrange for repairs or replacement if there is a hardware issue with your laptop's RAM.

Please note that these are general troubleshooting steps, and it's always advisable to consult with a professional or the laptop manufacturer's support for a more accurate diagnosis and resolution.

Hello, I've tried to see my laptop's devices with Cpu-z and Speccy

They showing that I'm using only 1 RAM slot - 8GB
Windows showing 12 though. Wierd
Maybe my soldered RAM died. Is there any way to check that without disassembly?  Mybkexperience

For now I use it normally but I can't find drivers also memtest86 I already tried 3 times and it didn't any problems.

Also it's not a virus because I already tried to install Linux on it but nothing happens.

Probably it's broken or soft/hard bug or setting to change.
