AMD/AGESA/SMU updates for Acer Laptops

Greetings to all,

Is there any way to implement the new AMD/AGESA/SMU patches (1.2.0.A or higher) via tool (utility) or alternative driver?

I'm asking this question, because I have an Acer brand Aspire 5 A515-45(G) laptop equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 5700U (Lucienne) processor and its latest BIOS available so far (version 1.13) has an old and outdated AGESA/SMU code (1.1.8.0 / 55.76) .

And unfortunately this irresponsible Company it's not releasing new BIOS updates that include these improvements and fixes. Delivering for us users here in Brazil an extremely nasty and frustrating experience. In which we have had numerous users complaining of problems with bugs and crashes and spontaneous reboots with event 41 generated in Windows log.

TIA

The crashes during DOTA 2 gameplay and the issues with the GPU fan and memory clock could be related to a driver update or software changes. Uninstalling the AMD software and using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to clean the driver installation was a good step. The abnormal GPU fan behavior and memory clock readings may be caused by driver settings or conflicts. Checking and adjusting the graphics driver settings, reinstalling the driver, and monitoring with other software tools can help resolve the issues. Installing the latest driver version and rolling back to a previous stable version are potential solutions.

Acer is the only company to supply a BIOS Update to your laptop BIOS.

You are quite correct that the latest Acer BIOS for your Laptop is version 1.13: https://www.acer.com/us-en/support?search=Aspire%20A515-45G&filter=global_download

Only thing you can do is wait until Acer comes out with a newer BIOS Version or open a ACER Support ticket and ask them if there are going to be any new BIOS updates in the near future.

Thanks for reply, @elstaci!

Unfortunately it seems that Acer doesn't like to update AMD/AGESA/SMU code on their laptops. As we can see in the screenshot below:
