Hi i have an AMD A10-6800k is running really hot. I first had a cooler master evo 212 but it was running hot so I thought that it was not enough cooling so I saved up and got a Kraken x61. Even though I got a good water cooler it was still running hot at 60-75c. My computer keeps freezing up and crashing. I have removed thermal past and reapplied it. I am not overclocking my cpu.
Your APU is only a 100w unit that has a maximum user operating temp of 74C. A Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO HSF should be plenty of cooling for your APU. MX-4 will only change the APU temp by a couple degrees at most over the OEM TIM. Make sure that you are reading the Internal APU temp and NOT the CPU temp which is typically for the processor socket which runs hotter than the processor. Do you have good airflow thru your PC case? Are the CPU and other fans set to 100% or Max in the BIOS or O/S?
