Are there any AM2 socket cpu that comes in Quard core or more?  I searched wiki only to see x2.  Just thought i'd ask to confirm.

Want to install on Biostar TF7050-M2.

I should also ask if anyone know if this MB bios is capable of opening up extra cores.

The CPU support page on Biostar's product page for that motherboard will list all the CPUs compatible with that motherboard.

The highest supported CPU is Athlon X2 6000+ the 89W version, not the 125W version. The first quad cores were socket AM2+, not supported by this motherboard.

Thank you. I saw the compatibility chart and thought maybe just maybe someone tried stepping outside the box. Since some of the x2 are x3 or x4 with bad core.
