My Ryzen 7 7800x3d frequently drops below the base clock frequency of 4.2 ghz in games. It fluctuates between 3.2 ghz - 4.8 ghz. At times it just gets stuck at 4040mhz and would at times drop as low as 3.2ghz. I have tried playing with pbo and co, all it does is now the speeds fluctuate between 3.2ghz - 5ghz. I have reset my PC and installed fresh OS multiple times. After the first boot post reset the issue seems fixed but reappears after a restart. what might be the issue guys ? And how can I fix it ?
