7800X3D Cleaning

My 7800X3D got some thermal paste under it and on the sides, is it safe to submerge it in isopropyl alcohol (99.97%)? And if so, should I let it dry out or something?

I would use a Q-tip or soft brush using 90+ Alcohol to clean any excess thermal paste from your processor's pins very carefully since the pins can easily bend or break off if scrubbed to hard.

Before installing make sure it is completely dry and clean to prevent any shorts between pins. The Alcohol should dry up fairly quickly.

by 90%+ you mean any percentage in between 90-100%, right? and it doesn't have pins, check the 7800x3d model

Yea, anything above 90% should be fine.

Oops, you are correct.  Then no need to worry about damaging any pins then (-: .

Since it seems to have contacts instead of pins than a Q-tip or soft brush would be a good cleaning implement.  Again I would be be careful and not scrub hard on the contacts.

The thermal paste should come off by softly scrubbing the surface.
