Hi Team Red,
I'm Dimitar a CTO of REDVERTEX. We changed over 150 workstations to AMD Ryzen 5950X platform about an year ago. We start noticing untypical behavior of some of our softwares that we didn't have with Intel workstations.
When we open two or more instances of Autodesk 3DS Max and execute some single thread load in it, all instances compete for only the first core of first CCX complex all other cores remain in sleep state (AMD Ryzen Master) instead of executing each single thread load on different core.
I know you put a lot of work to execute the single thread loads on the fastest core however is the above a desired behavior?
Thanks.
Dimitar
