Dear AMD community team,

I want to know Windows 11 support with AMD Ryzen™ 5 1500X in the future?

MS will probably post final system requirements on or near the official public release date of the OS.

My PC- Ryzen 5 5600x, B550 aorus pro ac, Hyper 212 black, 2 x 16gb F4-3600c16dgtzn kit, NM790 2TB, Nitro+RX6900XT, RM850, Win.10 Pro., LC27G55T.

At the moment, 1st generation Ryzens are not compatible with Windows 11 and not listed on the Microsoft list for processors.

OK,

that will move my with this machine to the Linux. Sorry M$. I am sure that many older Intel procs will be supported. I am also reading some funny reasons for this. Sad.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread.

I was working on a Ryzen 5 1500X PC and after updating the BIOS to the latest version (F53d on a Gigabyte A320M-S2H), absent mindedly booted the Win 11 23H2 installer on USB. To my surprise, I didn't get any warnings about an incompatible system and it's installed and activated just fine.

It's also downloading and installing updates just fine too.

As at today's date, the MS Compatibility page doesn't list the 1500X as being officially supported.
