Why is the AMD A10-7890k sold out everywhere? even the older models are sold out?

Is these APU's just sold out or are they discontinued? Only A10-7890k iv found is on ebay and amazon but they are from untrust worthy people and i have already been refunded 2 times through amazon. Does anyone know of a store i can buy the A10-7890k FM2+ APU from, that isnt sold out?

Because it's obsolete technology and is not being manufactured any longer.

AMD A10-7890k is a Kaveri APU and is a Socket FM2+.

Since 2016 AMD has only been producing Bristol Ridge APUs which are all Socket AM4.

Examples: A6-9500, A6-9550, A8-9600, A10-9700, A12-9800

Older APUs are going to be harder and harder to get. For now your best bet is to save your money and buy or build a new computer. For now AMD only supports desktops with Socket AM4 CPUs and APUs. Also AM4 motherboards only support DDR4 memory.

Of course this assumes your current computer is or will soon be inadequate for your needs (or desires?). If not just enjoy what you have until you need something better.
