Hi everyone. 
Just built a new PC yesterday with an R5 2600 and ASUS Prime x470 Pro motherboard. I am having problems with my CPU frequency as it keeps spiking up to 4+ Ghz (it hit 5ghz yesterday!) This is really annoying me as I want control over my cpu frequency, and even when overclocking and setting a frequency, it still goes over it. I have updated BIOS to latest version, tried disabling core performance boost but nothing has worked. I am also using HWMonitor to view the frequency. My CPU's voltage doesn't seem to spike up with it, however. Weird.
