When will Zen 3 inventory normalize? Or, can we expect a Nvidia like experience.

Obviously, there was very low inventory at lunch with many eluding to paper launch only. When can "regular" people expect to be able to purchase a Zen 3 processor. Is inventory healthy and getting it to vendors is slow or do we need to plan to wait until Q1 or Q2 of 2021?

Hi tfurnier‌,

I don't work for AMD nor have any insight information, however, from what I can see in the UK market the new CPUs are being delivered in batch.

Some of them have been delivered before the 5th November, and all these have been sold, aside from some that are being used in pre-built computers (so Yes, if you buy a prebuilt with the new CPU you can receive it soon).

The next availability of AMD Gen 3 CPUs to UK is set to the 21st November, however most of the resellers will prioritise pre-orders.

Said so, this is the situation in the UK and might not apply to your country.
