What should I do?

So I recently came into some money and really want to swap out my 5700xt so I’m looking into getting a 6800xt. However, I’m running a 3700x CPU. I’m aware there will probably be some bottlenecking on a 1080p 165 monitor which I'm playing on at the moment but is it really that bad? As long as I’m getting above average fps on most games and get a consistent 60 on Ultra when I choose to at least, I’m fine with that. Should I upgrade to 5600x for the sake of it or would getting a 1440p monitor be more important?

I am running a 3700x and RX 6700 XT, I have restricted the FPS to just a couple of frames below my 1440p monitor..

My monitor is set at 165hz, my GPU is set at 163hz so it stays within freesync range..

If your only playing at 1080p then the RX 6700 XT would be a great card for you..
