wish I knew
Wish I knew what your specific question on this thread is.
While AMD didn't exactly lie about the specs, they never exactly told the truth either. Those processors were suppose to have 8 functional cores, but due to a bunch of stuff i don't understand there is only 6 functional cores and something about the way the threads were set up.
I have received a email about the recall from the organization that is doing the class action lawsuit, and the whole thing looks legit, but I live in Canada and just chatted with newegg.ca and they tell me that my cpu wasn't part of the recall.
This is all fairly new so some more details should be coming out, but it's dumb that AMD.com has no link or anything available about the recall
that's just it ...I don't know whats wrong with it....what is it these cpu,s do to cause a recall????

other than these cpus being old as dirt, theres nothing wrong with them. It was false advertising.
