What are really the differences between 5 2600 and 2600x?

Hey Guys,

i am really not sure if i should buy a Ryzen 5 2600 or the 2600x.

I would pay the extra Money for the little bit more performance, but recently i heard that the 2600 is totally the same Chip as the 2600x.

But that the x-version just is clocked higher out of the Box (and you get the Spire, but i don't care about the stock fans).

So is it true that it actually is the totally same Chip? So can i reach the same Max overclock a both cpus?

Could somebody help me please? Thanks!

They're binned differently, and no overclock is guaranteed.
