Hello,
I wanted to know if it was normal that there are no capacitors on the top left and top right of the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor that I received today (ordered on December 22, 2024 on the Alternate website)?
The purpose is to verify if the processor is real and not a counterfeit.

Hello, I checked all this and everything is in order except the packaging of the box which is not chipped like in their photos. Is it still possible to fake a processor despite these checks when I am 100% sure that it is a real one?

If you are 100% sure the processor is real then why are you asking if it's fake?

The packaging should have the identifiers listed in the link.

Install the CPU and see if it works?
