Hi, we have a bunch of HP Elite T655 Thin Clients, nearly all of which freeze completely at random times (at a rate of 0.03 times per day per thin client). Symptoms: frozen screen, all USB inputs stop working (though there is still USB power untill I unplug/plug in a device, at which point they it longer receive any power), no network activity, and the only resolution is a power cycle.
The freezes occur randomly, with no apparent correlation with user activity. Regularly rebooting the device does not prevent the issue; freezes can occur shortly after reboot. Is unrelated to RDP, VNC etc.
HP support is lacking severely. Does anyone have any insight as to what might be causing this, and how it might be fixed?
