The smart NIC Xilinx Solarflare X2522-10G has strange behavior on 7950X linux platform.
Which I have never seen before with same nic on AMD 5950X linux platform.
the RX packets software timestamp minus hardware timestamp jumps above 6us even more(use efsink within onload driver), which is too high to represent PCIE latency.
I have tried :
1. switch to latest onload driver (8.0.2.51)
2. switch to latest RHEL9.0(kernel 5.14.0-70-13.1.0.3)
3. use ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO motherboard and update bios to newest version 1004
4. use G.SKILL memory which support EXPO
and above changes had no effect.
I want to seek some help from AMD because 7950X and the smart nic solarflare nic ( which is also part of AMD products now) shouldn't have such compatibility problem
