Ryzen Master reports temperatures that are 10 degree warmer than what HWmonitor and Coretemp report. I have Ryzen 2700x on ASrock Master SLI motherboard.

Ryzen master typically has my cpu sitting at 44 at stock settings with stock cooler at idle. HWmonitor and Coretemp report 34 under same conditions. Ryzen master is update and all drivers are up to date as well. Which is correct? 44 seems high for just idle.

westkam34, please post a screenshot of Ryzen Master (RM).  It is the only temperature reporting application that can be trusted.  Please ignore all the free applications.  They are often wrong.  Does seem a bit high.  What is your ambient temperature?  Please check that the cooler is mounted correctly and tightly to the processor.  Try plugging the fan directly into 12 volts.

The cooler is mounted correctly with a proper amount of thermal paste. The ambient temp in the room is about 60-65 degrees F. The CPU fan is plugged into the CPU fan header on my MB.

Also, my friend built his PC at the same time I built mine with basically all the same components. His Ryzen master reports lower temps in my and his ryzen master also agrees with the two other programs that mine does not agree with. His temps resemble the temps from HWmonitor and Coretemp on mine.

westkam34, I suggest you open an AMD Online Support Request.  This is a user forum and I do not work for AMD.  Enjoy, John.
