I recently purchased an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X processor. I'm currently using it with the fan that was installed with my previous Ryzen 5 3600X. With the previous processor, the temperature would reach a maximum of 70°C. Now, with the 7600X, the temperature is around 40–45°C while idle, and during gaming, it fluctuates between 75–85°C, occasionally spiking to 90°C before dropping back down. Under 100% load, it reaches 95°C.
At some point, I plan to get a more powerful fan and a larger case, but I can't afford it right now. On the internet, many people seem to have resolved this issue by setting the processor to Eco Mode using the Ryzen Master application and are satisfied with the resulting temperatures. If I choose Eco Mode through this application, will it void the warranty on my processor?
Solved! Go to Solution.
ECO mode does not void your warranty. It runs the processor at a TDP lower than stock.

Dont use the Eco Mode just yet, go with a simple offset undervolt on the vCore. It Will probably shave off some 5C which is good enough to get you by without losing performance.
Curve Optimizer could also help you, however, CO normally bumps performance up while offset undervolting is the Board starving the CPU even though it requests more voltage.
Good luck
Sorry to ask again, I'm allien to whole voltage thing. I have exactly the same system as the one in this video;

Would it be fine to do what he does? Seems simple enough if I just follow him.
Yes you can use both. By using both you'll get higher clock speeds in multi-core loads. If you use Eco Mode without Curve Optimizer you'll get lower clock speeds in multi-core loads because you'll be running at higher voltages.
