Hello guys!
I bought AMD Ryzen 9 7900x3D and I have ram memory ddr5 6000mhz, dimm format.
Is there any problem to use this memory with this processor?
I mean, I saw connectivity topics on amd's site and the maximum speed is 5200mhz for this processor.
Do I need to buy ram memory ddr5 5200mhz?
I searched on Google about some problems within this compatibility, however I didn't find anything.
My motherboard is x670e-plus supports both, processor and ram memory.
Thx

If your Motherboard CPU LIST shows support for your processor and the Motherboard's QVL List for the 7000 series processor shows your RAM as being compatible than you shouldn't have any issues.
The QVL List means that Asus personally checked that RAM Part Number for compatibility issues at its assigned speed and found it to be compatible.
From your Asus Motherboard Specs concerning RAM:

Hello.
Since the 7900x3d's CPU memory controller speed is 5200 MHz, is there any benefit to using faster memory modules?
I understand that faster modules can be supported, but is there any real benefit?
Do you have to overclock the CPU to take advantage of this?
