Hi i just bought Ryzen 8700G also fresh all other components. But i have problem about my APU or CPU i think. Im getting black screen constantly. Even when creating this topic, got about 10 times. There is my pc specs:
Im keep checking all system temp and Volt values with HWMonitor and AMD Ryzen Master. Leaving here my current-min-max values for an example. Black screen happened between these min-max values:
Lastly, i was using HDMI to connect my monitor then switched to Display Port for get 144Hz to 165Hz but nothing changed. Same with both cable connection. My screen resolution is 2K (2560x1440-165Hz) and HDR on. Tried on 1920x1080 and result was same still getting black screen. Is there any way to detect actual problem about CPU or Motherboard and solution for this? Thank you!
There are no DDR5-7800 memory modules certified on your motherboard QVL list - the highest speed memory listed as compatible is DDR5-7200.

Yes i know that and my RAM speed is: 5200Mhz [Task Manager] Is that why i am getting black screen?
Update:
I connected 1HDMI & 1 DisplayPort monitors to my case and when this black screen happining on my First screen, second screen was OK. Also tried that first monitor on another case and there was no any problem. So hard to detect really problem for me..
Which type HDMI or DP is exhibiting the problem? Have you tried another cable, or a different port?
What are the resolution and refresh rate of the monitors? Which has the problem? Have you tried resetting defaults? Disable Freesync?
Tried with these settings:
-HDMI & DP
-1920x1080 - 2K [Monitor supports 2K-165Hz]
-144Hz[HDMI] & 165HZ [DP] & 60Hz with both.
-All settings was default.
Freesync was active and i just disabled it. I'll update post after test it for a while.
With disabled freesync still getting black screens..
Also reinstalled Windows 11 to be sure about software bugs somehow, but result was same.
I'll focus and check monitor for that issue and will update.. I hope its the problem here somehow..

"Windows installed drivers works perfectly" on a laptop with the same IGPU.
It's kind of funny how the "black screen problem" keeps returning in every GPU design. But it's not funny for the consumers of those GPU's of course. I think it's safe to conclude that (again) this is a driver function/problem where the GPU clearly just seemingly randomly completely stops the signal to the display unless standard VGA settings are being used. By using standard VGA drivers any hardware acceleration is being avoided. Could it be that the native driver telling the GPU to stop functioning any further is some kind of crude way of avoiding a complete crash of the system? What I describe is what leoli clearly observes:
"I have got the some issue on 780m integrated GPU, when i UNINSTALLED AMD gpu drive it wored fine, but windows11 will install it automaticlly, then my screem would be black out"
In other words: Completely black screens as soon as an(y) AMD GPU driver is being used. Could this be a mighty defect that somehow is being obscured by "driver" problems?
So far there is NO SOLUTION in sight. Alternative drivers for this new hardware are not available.
I do have a workaround: Temporarily kill your internet connection. Uninstall the AMD GPU driver. Search in start menu gpedit.msc and open it. Go to Computer Configuration> Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Windows update> and configure in "Manage updates offered from Windows Update" the policy "Do not include drivers with windows updates" Set this policy to enabled and reboot the system. Now you can enable your internet connection again. This way you can use the standard Microsoft VGA driver without having to worry that a Windows update will install a (non functional) AMD driver. It's not much, I agree, but it's still better then trying to post your problem on this forum and you cannot see that no one has the ability to solve your problem because the screen blacked out.........again. The good news is that MS has very much improved it's standard VGA driver! The maximum resolution is much higher nowadays then 640 by 480 pixels though, maybe not as high as you might wish.

320V, do you get black screens with one monitor? Did you get your video and chip set drivers ONLY from AMD? John.
Yes he did! And Windows did that also! All by itself! That's why he needed to go to this forum asking for your (or anybody's) help
Did you solve the problem yet?
I just built a PC for an office with this chip and it has been happening. Dual screens, one HDMI and one DP.
misterj is looking into it. Meanwhile you are free to use the workaround I posted in this thread.
