Ryzen 7 5800x

Hi here’s the problem I’m having I just recently installed the Ryzen 7 5800x processor with a asus B550m mb,Corsair H100 liquid cooler,AMD rx6600xt graphics card,Samsung 870evo ssd and a WD hhd along with 8 led lights from Corsair and 3. 120mm RGB fans and a 850watt psu .

now my problem is after I play my game FS22 for about 1 1/2 hours my computer just shuts off and I have to manually get up and push the button to get it to restart and I’ve checked my cpu temperature and I’ve restarted it and it’s running at 48-54c degrees so I’m wondering if my psu is causing this problem. I’ve ordered a new 1300watt psu to try.

It sounds like you may be right with the PSU, your AMD RX6600 XT alone recommends a minimum of a 500W PSU.

Your CPU is running well under tolerance, so it's not likely to be overheating.

You could check the Windows Event Viewer > System logs for any clues.

I agree, it sounds like it could be a psu issue. I usually get EVGA Supernova 80+ Gold power supplies. I've had too many cheapo PSU units die on me or fry MoBos.
