Ryzen 7 5800x crashes when I start COD Cold WAR
Hi, I have a problem, when I start COD:CW my PC shuts down and restarts immediately.
Error:
A fatal hardware error has occurred.
Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Bus/Interconnect Error

Specs:
Ryzen 7 5800x
ASROCK Phantom Gaming 4
RTX 3070

What I have already done:
CPU Heatlimit: 65 -70 C°
RAM clock: 3600
COD reinstalled

The solution is to update the BIOS thats it.

Did you update the Nvidia driver?
cuz when I update the Nvidia driver to 516.60 most of the game freeze and I downgrade to 512.95 and there's new update 516.59 I didn't try it.

I had this problem on version 4.30. I updated the bios to version 4.00 and the problem went away.

Did this issue start after you updated the BIOS? If so the following may help, do a clean install of your graphics drivers. If this fails to work, reseat the graphics card. ( Power down the system wait 5 mins, remove the graphics card, wait for 2-3 mins, then reinstall it ensuring its properly locked in obviously.) Then do the clean driver install again. Good luck.
