Ryzen 7 5800 / X470

Hey guys got a question. 

I sold my old ryzen 7 3800 yesterday and bought the ryzen 7 5800 which arrives tonorrow. I didnt Update my BIOS yet. When im putting the new CPU in, will my System Boot atleast into my bios?

If not, what can i do to update my BIOS?

If your motherboard has a USB Flashing capability (USB BIOS Flashback is what ASUS calls it, for example) then you can update it without a CPU. If not, then there is a high degree of likelihood that it will not POST.
