hello there,

i am currently running a ryzen 7 1700x, no OC, MSI x370 SLI PLUS motherboard, cooler master masterliquid lite 120 cpu cooler

while stress testing or running cinebench, amd ryzen master shows temp reach 75 C and cpu throttles back to ~ 1.5 ghz

fresh windows, updated bios and chipset driver

need help !!!

i do mostly rendering in 3ds max, render time is poor than a 2nd gen core i7 .

Shouldn't be throttling. Have you checked the MSI forums to see if it's an issue with that board?

You have plenty of CPU temperature room, 20C.  You need to look elsewhere.  Enjoy, John.

i have reset my bios, reinstall cooler with thermal paste, doesnt help either.
