Dear all,
my Ryzen 17 1700X is downclocking under ful load to 3.0 - 3.2 GHz and I can't figure out why. As soon as the load drops to ~ 80%, the clock is normal again. What's wrong?
My system comprises Win10, Gigabyte AX370 Gaming 5, Noctua cooler and I am using parallelized MATLAB.
All temperatures are relatively low under full load:
CPU (Tdie): 54 °C
Chipset: 46 °C
VRM MOS: 62 °C
(BTW: what exactly is CPU(Tctl)-temperature since it is exactly 20 °C above CPU(Tdie)?)
Vcore is between 1.194 V(load) and 1.244 V(idle). LLC is set to "low".
