I have a Ryzen 7 1700 in an ASUS Strix X370-f motherboard and I'm facing the problem, that I get a CPU temp of 0 Celsius in the BIOS and every monitoring program, that I've tried. The CPU Fan seems to adjust its speed though. I think the problem is a faulty CPU. Is there anything else I could try?

OK so I've updated the BIOS and that fixed the problem.
Faulty thermal sensor. What does AIDA64 report the temperatures as?
yeah, it's probably a faulty thermal sensor. AIDA64 doesn't report a temperature at all:
You could try RMAing your CPU, but if the fan speed is adjusting then I wouldn't worry about it, especially since AMD worked some magic with Ryzen processors and increased the thermal maximum to 90°C (up from 61°C it had been for ages).
But the CPU couldn't thermal throttle if I'm not mistaken.
Does Ryzen Master Tool report a temperature?
Ryzen Master Tool doesn't report any temperature.
OK so I've updated the BIOS and that fixed the problem.
